During the consultation period, Nordic Ecolabelling gives you the opportunity to comment on our proposal for new criteria for Remanufactured OEM Toner and Ink Cartridges.
Nordic Ecolabelling are revising the requirements for Remanufactured OEM Toner and Ink Cartridges. You are welcome to respond to the proposal no later than June 4, 2025.

Most important issues
- The product group definition of the criteria has now been expanded to also cover ink cartridges.
- Requirement O3 Classification of ingoing substances (for toner powder and ink)
- Requirement O4 Excluded substances (for toner powder and ink)
- Requirement O6 Analysis for heavy metals, tin organic compounds and VOC (for toner powder and ink)
- Requirement O10 and O11 Print quality and print capacity for ink cartridges
- Requirement O13 Take-back system for remanufacturing
- Requirement O17 Legislation and labour conventions
